Platform Overview
Slim.io’s customer-facing experience is delivered through the Customer Dashboard at /dash/ — a unified DSPM console for discovery, classification, governance, and remediation.
Customer Dashboard (/dash/)
The primary interface for security and compliance teams. Built as a modern React SPA with a consistent design system, the dashboard organizes capabilities into focused workspaces:
Discovery & visibility
- Command Center — Executive risk overview with cross-source signal aggregation, trend visualization, and prioritized action queue
- Data Overview — High-level inventory across every connected source, broken down by sensitivity category and risk band
- Data Catalog — Searchable inventory of all scanned assets (files, tables, channels) with sensitivity classifications and lineage
- Discovery — Treemap, PII distribution, drift timeline, and scan-confidence views for exploring detected sensitive data
- Investigate — Risk graph and finding-level drilldowns by category, severity, or data source
Connect & scan
- Data Sources (formerly “Connectors”) — Configure cloud storage, database, and SaaS connectors. Cloud providers support two connection methods: an agentless option that uses provider APIs from Slim.io, and a deployable scanner that runs inside your environment.
- Scans — Trigger, schedule, monitor, cancel, and review historical scans with completeness scoring
- Classifiers — Manage detection rules and custom classifier definitions
Govern & act
- Governance — Policy management, drift detection, compliance framework tracking, and audit trail
- Behavior — Access patterns and unusual activity surfaced from connector telemetry
- Action — Remediation workflow for resolving findings (acknowledge, suppress, tokenize, escalate)
- Remediation — Track remediation progress and outcomes
- Reporting — Pre-built reports across compliance frameworks
- Export — Generate ad-hoc exports, schedule recurring reports, and use AI-assisted summaries
Account
- Settings — Identity, SSO, workspace configuration, billing, and API keys
The dashboard uses a single design system with consistent navigation, color tokens, and primitives across every workspace. Brand accent is the Slim.io green; semantic colors (red/orange/amber/green) are reserved for severity and risk indicators.
